We know the pace of life is fast these days: that’s why we are committed to “delivery at speed but never in haste”. We have tight targets for our response times but if you’re in a mad rush and need something “super speedily” we’ll try and accommodate. We can even offer next day delivery for your documents and if you’re interested in our value-added car registration service, we’d be happy to talk to you about that too.

We know the internet can be intimidating or impossible for some people but don’t worry: we’re happy to talk you through the process. Our friendly team will await your call!

Arranging and paying for your insurance couldn’t be simpler. Like any other business, we will happily accept credit cards or cash payments. If you’re happy to collect your insurance documentation in person from our offices, we would love to see you and take your payment via your chosen method:  however, if you prefer to have your paperwork delivered we will need to take payment from you before we send your documents. 

Please also be aware that some banks make a small charge for payments made by credit card: don’t worry, if this applies to you we will let you know beforehand.

We’ll be able to negotiate a group discount on your behalf if your cars are due for renewal at similar times. Or why not get together with a few workmates and we’ll see if we can do something very special for you.

Let us know, and we can sort out changing your policy. In fact, as we love our clients, we’ll even do this for free. However, your premium might change, but we’ll let you know about that.

Insurance works on the basis of protecting you against the unexpected. Whilst pregnancy can of course fall into this category, it is a condition that must be declared to your Insurers as soon as you are aware of your good news!

If you become pregnant during the course of your insurance year; that is after your insurance policy came into force; then you should notify your Medical Insurers immediately and review the benefits that may apply under your Policy.

No medical insurance or DHA mandatory cover only? You can still get high-level medical insurance, but it will not cover anything to do with the pregnancy as this is a “known” condition. 

If you are not pregnant yet, ask one of Alfred’s helpers for advice on which is the best Medical policy for you to cater for any future plans you might have.

We’re sad to see you leave. Providing you haven’t had any claims, we can sort out cancelling your policy and getting you a partial refund. Each insurance company has their own refund set up, and you’ll probably have to pay an administration fee.

Moving house can be a stressful time so we like to keep changing your insurance simple and worry-free. If you’re moving to a new home, we’ll need to take some details from you such as your new address and area code, and the values to be insured under the Policy (Contents and Buildings values generally alter and you want to make sure you have adequate insurance cover).

If you’re an owner occupier and selling your property altogether, then you’ll probably want to cancel your policy and apply for a partial refund. Each insurance company has their own rules on refunds and cancellation and you’ll probably have to pay an administration fee.

We only work with companies who provide fully comprehensive cover in Oman. For other GCC countries, you should check your policy schedule, but it probably won’t unless you ask for it specifically.
